I had a wonderful three-night stay here, the room was tidy on the fifth floor, and I really enjoyed the balcony with a view of the swimming pool, so I definitely recommend this place!

The rooms were brand-new, decent size and with separate bedroom. A balcony, a lounge, and a kitchen area were standard, but I loved that.

a decent size apartment, exceptionally comfortable beds. location close to the beach and lively parts of the gold coast, local convenience store and a cafe and bowls club and spar supermarket. a good choice of food options not too far away from the venue.

Everything is great here, and I had an awesome stay that lasted throughout the nights. the rooms are perfect and fabulous, featuring a couch and single beds, plus a new mattress in the main bedroom. All of the hotel’s staff are lovely and kind. At the café bar, they serve fine food and drinks.

Great location and a north western facing apartment for a winter break if perfect.

The reception we received from the manager was fantastic.

Given that we arrived a little early, the cleaner was still finishing up. The room smelled really strongly of bleach.

The location here is great! It’s a charming area with a market and small supermarkets close by, making it really convenient. 🛒.

San Mateo offers a comfortable stay everything you need for a holiday without taking to much from home just need your cloths and food. The kitchen and laundry are well equipt veiws are great little traffic noise. Would stay here again but longer next time handy to all attractions and shopping with just a short drive. Suitable for families friendly staff. Security features very good. Felt safe here.

Nothing here was really bad Just a few small repairs needed but not significant didn't affect our stay. All repairs needed are cosmetic.

Great place to stay as it is between the main road and the beach. Rooms are clean with a well equiped kitchen. Management were very helpfull. We would definately stay again.

This hotel offers spacious, well-equipped rooms complete with two balconies, allowing you to relax with a glass of wine and enjoy beautiful water views, along with great food and attentive staff.

The management was very friendly and helpfull, the location was exactly where I needed to be, which was close to my family, the appartment was very comfortable & clean and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again in the future.

There was nothing to dislike about my stay at San Mateo on Broadbeach. I was extremely happy with my stay there.

Location & Privacy

Not sure that it is up to its star rating, however would still recommend. No sea view that was expected.

I had a wonderful experience at San Mateo On Broadbeach during my holiday. the central location is fantastic, as it’s just a short walk from the Florida Gardens tram station. it’s conveniently situated near local shops and restaurants, including both Surfers Paradise and the Broadbeach Oasis shopping centre.

From the moment we arrived the Hospitality from reception was amazing. The rooms were spacious and the view great. Very clean and everything we required was supplied.

I recently stayed at San Mateo On Broadbeach for a few days, and I must say it was a pleasant experience. The location of the aparthotel is fantastic, just a block away from the beach. The one-bedroom apartment I stayed in was clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. It even had a laundry, dishwasher, and oven, which would be great for longer stays.

While the hotel isn't perfect, with some minor issues like outdated rooms and limited WiFi, the positives outweighed the negatives. The proximity to the beach and the convenience of having a well-equipped apartment made up for any shortcomings.
